Filtering resources by custom attributes not working

I added some custom attributes to the resources for inventory management. Later, I noticed that filtering resources by any custom attribute, such as inventory number, seems broken. Any thoughts? See attached screenshots.
Speaking of filtering resources, it would really help if one had the choice to filter resources by location. It seems like an obvious thing to filter by.
