I did a backup of the database through phpmyadmin, then I ran the Softaculous update script on the new host.
Following the update and wizard was launched that updated the database to the new format. All seemed to go fine

Hello all. Seems my last post disappeared - hopefully this won't be a duplicate! I'm switching web providers, so need to make a full backup of v2.6.8. How do I do this? Is there a tutorial somewhere? Also, new host is offering v2.8.5 through Softaculous. Will I be able to do a simple import and reta...
