Can you post a picture of your custom attribute and showing where it is set on the resource. I just tried it on a 2.6.8 installation I still have and it worked just fine.

1. Login to the system and go to the Users page. In Chrome, right click on the page and choose "Inspect" (last item on the list). You should get some new stuff appearing. Did you check the log file to see if there are any errors recorded in there? Or, show the developer tab on the page to see if any errors are displayed.

When making a reservation, you can add additional resources to the reservation before you click the create button. That way you can have one reservation with all of your 2nd floor resources on it.
