Add either new suffixes or different group (AD or Ldap)

Hello!
I'm trying to get my instance of Booked Sched (currently 2.8.5.4) to either accept different suffixes (@example.uni.edu.au and @example.students.uni.edu.au) in the AD auth, or two different groups in the same OU (CN=example,OU=example,DC=uni,DC=edu,DC=au,CN=example_studio,OU=example,DC=uni,DC=edu,DC=au), but neither of them are working. Both authentication types do work with either just the one suffix or group, so it's just the multiples that aren't working.
Any help is appreciated!
