Hello all. Seems my last post disappeared - hopefully this won't be a duplicate!
I'm switching web providers, so need to make a full backup of v2.6.8.
How do I do this? Is there a tutorial somewhere?
Also, new host is offering v2.8.5 through Softaculous.
Will I be able to do a simple import and retain all data?

In case anyone else looks for information on this, I'll update it here.
I did a backup of the database through phpmyadmin, then I ran the Softaculous update script on the new host.
Following the update and wizard was launched that updated the database to the new format. All seemed to go fine
