Undo default of schedule to current week after updating a reservation

One of our users reported that since the 3.1 upgrade, after creating/cancelling/modifying a reservation, the scheduler defaults back to the current week instead of the week they are on. Is there any way to remove this default? Their experience is that this did not occur prior to the upgrade.
