Hello@All,
when setting up the resources we are not sure when to use groups or types.
Maybe someone can explain the difference and give examples for usecases?
Greeting from Berlin!
Resource Types or Groups
Re: Resource Types or Groups
Both are way of organizing your resources. You will notice the difference on the filter on Schedule, Bookings.
I tend to use Groups as location based resources and Types as resources that are alike. For example, all the conference rooms on the 1st Floor is a group, all the conference rooms on the 2nd floor as a group, etc.. Types are various check-out equipment (projector 1, projector 2, projector 3, etc..)
Like I said, it is all in how you want to organize your resources.

Re: Resource Types or Groups
Hello
I managed to create a group for ressources --I manage a building with multiple rooms.
Now, how can I book a full group, for example I want to book all 2nd floor? Should I still book each room one by one?
Please just tell me how to proceed, thanks.

When making a reservation, you can add additional resources to the reservation before you click the create button. That way you can have one reservation with all of your 2nd floor resources on it.
